The Infamous Masterson’s , located in the heart of Moonee Ponds , promotes itself as a chic “hipster” locale , but my unfortunate encounter at this establishment turned into one of the worst experiences of my life . While the bar may present a friendly façade, what I experienced behind its walls was disgraceful and unfit for any venue.

The floors were sticky , and a pungent odor of old alcohol and neglected washrooms filled the entire pub. Emitting a scent of a mixture of urine , old age and a sickly smell. The restroom was in even worse condition — spilling over , with a snapped lever and tiles smeared in what I can only assume was fecal matter .
